Recipe: Tomato & Pasta Soup

Here's a quick and simple recipe from our Head Chef that is sure to be a winner at your next dinner party.

Tomato & Pasta Soup
Serves 8

Ingredients
1.25 lt chicken stock
1 cup spiral pasta
2 carrots, sliced
1 zucchini, sliced
4 ripe tomatoes chopped
Salt & pepper

Method
Place the chicken stock in a pot and bring to the boil.
Reduce the heat and add the pasta, carrot and zucchini.
Cook for 10 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente.
Add tomato and heat through gently for a few more minutes and season with salt & pepper to taste.

Parents of the Bride give Windows "100 out of 100" on Wedding

Proud parents give Windows "100 out of 100" for their daughter's wedding

"On Easter Saturday, April 3rd, we held a reception for our daughters wedding at Windows on The Bay. Including the bridal party, we had 92 guests and served multiple courses, wine & beer. The function was supported by a live band.

I consider myself to be at times, a critical person, and enjoy fine dining and good service. So it is with huge gratitude that I want to compliment the team at Windows On The Bay for a 100 out of 100 performance on Saturday.


Our experience from the early days, through to later months has been fantastic. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. I was actually surprised to find Ismini (function co-ordinator) at the venue on Saturday when we arrived, making sure everything was in order, and adding her personal touch of service. Simply outstanding!

On the night, David Munn and his team did an exemplary job. We had special dietary meals served without a hitch. The entire menu (minus one dish) was gluten free. Every mouthful was perfect, meal sizes plentiful, presentation perfect.
The service by the staff was that of a fine dining restaurant, not usually experienced when dealing with a sizeable function.

Free event: Beach rugby, Mordialloc foreshore, Saturday 6th March

Summer may be technically over, but not in Mordialloc. This Saturday 6th March, bring the family down to the Mordialloc foreshore for some beach rugby. Three 25m x 30m rugby fields will be set up on the sand near Mordialloc Pier as part of an inaugural beach rugby competition. There will also be giveaways and DJs playing. While you're there, stop by Windows on the Bay for a bite or a drink and say hello!
